Do you remember that very cold day last winter when we gathered to talk about hemp? The 2018 Frozen Farm Forum? We were delighted to have more than 80 people brave the elements to join us.

Jesse Ventura promotes LqP EDA Frozen Farm Forum – Jan 11-12

Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura encourages residents in Western Minnesota to move Minnesota forward by getting involved in Hemp Industry. The first step is attending the Frozen Farm Forum, January 11-12.

First Annual Frozen Farm Forum in LqP to focus on Hemp and Clean Energy – Jan 11-12

We are pleased to announce the First Annual Frozen Farm Forum on January 11 and 12 at the Madison Armory in Western Minnesota. Attendees will learn how to expand business opportunities by getting into hemp and clean energy industries. (Register here!)

Day One will focus on hemp. Speakers will include Margaret Wiatrowski from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture talking about the Hemp Study Program. There will also be a panel of farmers and small business owners who have benefited from the move to hemp for at least part of their business.

Day Two will focus on clean energy. Qualifying businesses will learn how to get started building income by farming renewable energies from CERT (Clean Energy Resource Teams). All attendees will learn how to save on energy conservation strategies from PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) and what financing is available to make that happen.
