Why is the business located in LqP County? 22 years ago when Rice Home Medical came to Madison we had only one other location which was located in Willmar Minnesota. We wanted to service Southwestern Minnesota so it just made sense to have the location in Madison so we could cover this service area evenly between the two locations.

What made you decide to pursue this?
There was a need for this type of business in the area. Knowing that we can provide medical equipment and supplies to people so they can stay in their own homes longer and helping that family member know that their loved one will have their medical needs met, makes all of us proud of what we do at Rice Home Medical.

What products/services do you offer?
We are a full-line medical equipment company. Our main focus is Respiratory, Rehab, and Women’s Health. Respiratory includes, Oxygen, CPAP machines (for sleep apnea), and nebulizers. Rehab includes custom wheelchairs, standard wheelchairs, ramps and stair lifts. Women’s Health includes Mastectomy products, Wicking Sleepwear, compression garments, and Breast pumps.

How many staff do you have?
11 at the Madison location and approximately 60 total with our 5 locations

Days & Hours of Operation:
We are open Monday-Friday 8:30 to 5:00
We have 24 hour emergency service available for after hours, holidays and weekends.

Future Plans for the business:
We are always looking for new medical technology and growing our business.

We take care of all of the documentation and billing to insurances.
