Computer Commuter
The LqP Computer Commuter is a mobile computer lab that tours Lac qui Parle to provide computer training and assistance to residents and local businesses especially in the communities of Bellingham, Boyd, Dawson, Madison, Marietta and Nassau. The idea for the LqP Computer Lab came up when Congressman Collin Peterson was approached by the TDF Foundation. Peterson know of LqP’s work in broadband and so brought the opportunity to them where it grew wheels to serve a greater area. Add in some financial support from the Blandin Foundation and the project grew wheels and wings, hitting the streets in the Summer of 2010.
